Green Light is an emerging deposit at the Coolgardie Gold Project, which covers 119 sq. km of highly prospective tenements on the outskirts of the Coolgardie township in the Goldfields region.
Focus operates the nameplate 1.2 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) processing plant at Three Mile Hill located less than two km from Green Light.
Green Light is a lookalike to the 152,000 ounces CNX gold deposit with the CNX stage 1 pit located less than 200m SE of Greenlight and comprises a mine depleted ore reserve to 31 Dec 2025 of 1.18 m million tonnes (Mt) at 1.19 grams per tonne (g/t+ for 45.2 K ounces, Both CNX and Greenlight host bulk style mineralisation within the G2 quartz granophyric sub unit of the Three Mile Sill.
Optimally oriented infill RC drilling to nominal 20m spacing in 2026 aims to upgrade the parts of the Green Light resource most likely to be amenable for open pit mining to high quality Indicated Mineral Resource suitable for open pit feasibility study and mining approval.
Green Light is located within the Three Mile Hill mine stratigraphy, two km north-west of the Three Mile Hill ROM pad and processing plant. The resource sub-crops over a drill-defined strike of 400m and is open along strike and at depth.
There has been minimal historic production at Green Light apart from a couple minor shafts, one of which is named Princess Midas. Along strike to the south-east, the Three Mile Hill open pit had historic production of 4.2 Mt at 2.4 g/t Au for 324,000 ounces. In addition, the historic 1991 CNX trial pit delivered historic production of 196Kt at 1.86 g/t for 11,700 ounces.
Focus minerals have advanced work at Green Light to complete mining feasibility.
The CNX pit was mined in 1991 as a 30m-deep and 270m-long north-west striking open pit.
FML was up 0.72% to $2.09. Mkt cap $593.1M.
