Microcap Forbidden Foods (ASX:FFF) has confirmed its new protein product – ‘OMG’ – has hit over 450 Woolworths stores. OMG stands for Oat Milk Goodness.

The coffee protein product marks the third ‘OMG’ brand stock keeping unit (SKU) across Woolworths stores. In recent history, the company’s products have also ended up at Ampol servos and ecommerce services.

Some 130 Ampol ‘Foodary’ locations now stock some of the company’s goods. Ongoing negotiations to further distribute its wares continue.

This, Forbidden reports, is sound – sales were up in October by 44% MoM to $360K “across the combined entity.”

“Pleasingly, OMG now has three products in the broader Woolworths group and we are confident this will underpin sales growth over the coming months,” FFF CEO Alex Aleksic said.

“Negotiations with a range of other stockists are very well advanced and we look forward to providing additional updates as our footprint grows.”

Also worth noting: Forbidden is trying to get its logo on the Melbourne Mavericks’ professional netball team’s jersey.

“Under the terms of the sponsorship, the Blue Dinosaur logo will be featured on [marquee player Eleanor Cardwell’s] warm up top for the duration of the season, providing excellent brand exposure,” Forbidden wrote on Thursday.

Its ‘Blue Dinosaur’ protein bars (blue is the Mavericks’ colour) are proposed to be the keystone association with that team, which makes enough sense.

Investors are probably more interested in knowing if there’ll be a share price consolidation anytime soon.
