Thailand plastics to road-ready fuel facility

More than 66,000 tonnes of non-recyclable plastics will be used to create 70 million liters of road-ready fuel in Thailand.

The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies revealed Thailand is the ideal location to construct and operate a plastics to road-ready fuel facility, calling Thailand. 

IGE focuses on creating a clean plant for future generations, by converting plastics into valuable fuels. It plans to create a new way of living, by tackling major social , which have resulted a global, ses.

The project has been approved by the Thailand Board of Investment which will consist of four, 50 tonnes per day of plastic to fuel processing modules.

200 tonnes of will be removed, per day from waterways and landfills, reducing the carbon footprint by almost 40 in the use of diesel, and 30 reduction in the use of petrol. 

This fuel meets the EN 590 diesel requirement and EN 228 petrol requirement. IGE is working alongside international partners like Amsterdam and Hong Kong, to the benefit of its technology and value to stakeholders.
