Major Italian fashion brand, Giorgio Armani, will use Vection Technologies’ (VR1) virtual reality software for its worldwide retail store planning division.

The fashion designer will use the FrameS real-time software to help with its retail store planning division. This division is responsible for the retail site layout and design across all of Armarni’s designs.

This agreement has the potential to change how architects and designers work. It gives them the ability to design a retail store within an immersive experience.

The FrameS will allow the planning division to visualise ultra-realistic materials such as steel, matt metal, sanded glass and ceramics in the real space. Vection says using this technology will lead Armani to retail outcomes in line with its premier brand and reputation.

The deal includes an end-to-end real-time solution valued at roughly $12,000 — including the Enhancer FrameS licence — with a retail price of around $5,800 per year.

“We are pleased to work with Armani, one of the world’s leading fashion houses. This agreement represents an important stepping stone for FrameS, as it is recognised as the VR software of choice to configure the most elegant and iconic fashion retail stores globally,” Vection Managing Director Gianmarco Biagi said.

“The endorsement of Armani will be a great impetus for our sales team in this industry,” he added.

Vection remains steady on the market today and is selling shares for 3.9 cents each at 1:54 pm AEST.
