Gladiator Resources’ (GLA) Southern Tanzanian subsidiary Zeus Resources recorded high-grade uranium at Mkuju Project.

Multiple intercepts revealed promising uranium reserves. The site was previously owned by multiple other companies, making data for the region readily available.

At 10.5 meters 1124 parts per million (ppm) including 2 meters at 2135ppm and a second intercept at 10 meters at 1779 ppm including 5 meters at 3193ppm and 2 meters at 5124ppm.

The company announced the buy out of Zeus Resources in August, followed by a capital raise later in the month.

GLA Chairman Ian Hastings said the intercepts promised successful results.

“We are exciting by the results revealed to date which includes a number of high-grade intercepts and we are pursuing further data from Mkuju and the other project areas,” he said.

“We look forward to providing further strong results as the data comes to hand.”

The next stage for the project is ground-based exploration and sampling by the Likuyu North frontier, in hopes of extending the range and exploring more within the project boundaries.

Gladiator Resources traded at 4 cents after falling 6.98 per cent at 12:53 am AEDT.
