- GR Engineering (GNG) appoints co-founder Tony Patrizi as Managing Director
- Mr Patrizi has more than 40 years of experience in the mining and minerals processing sector and has been with the company since its inception
- The company says his appointment follows a “comprehensive search” carried out by an external agency
- Mr Patrizi has served as the company’s acting Managing Director since October 2022, with his official appointment to become effective immediately
- GNG shares are up 0.46 per cent, trading at $2.18 at market close
GR Engineering (GNG) has appointed Tony Patrizi as its newest Managing Director.
Mr Patrizi is the co-founder of GR Engineering and has more than 40 years of experience in the mining and minerals processing sector.
GR Engineering Chairman Phil Lockyer said following a “thorough” search process, the company’s board decided Mr Patrizi was the right man for the job.
“Under Tony’s leadership, the board is confident that GR Engineering will remain well-positioned for growth and continue to create value for its shareholders,” Mr Lockyer said.
“It is pleasing that GR Engineering’s new Managing Director has been identified from within the organisation, supporting a smooth and orderly transition to a leader with a deep understanding of our business and the industries it serves.”
The company said the”comprehensive” search process was carried out by an external agency.
Since GNG’s establishment, Mr Patrizi has held an executive role on the board and been a “key” member of the company’s senior management team.
He has served as the company’s acting Managing Director since October 2022.
Mr Patrizi will receive a fixed remuneration of $650,000 per annum.
GNG shares were up 0.46 per cent, trading at $2.18 at market close.
