GTI Resources (GTR) advises it will carry out uranium exploration fieldwork at the Henry Mountains project ahead of planned drilling.

The uranium and vanadium project is located in the US state of Utah, with the next round of fieldwork to focus on the East Exploration Target Area.

Work will begin next month and GTR plans to carry out geological mapping as well as
logging existing shallow drill holes at the site.

The company last explored the area in May, logging 40 new drill holes and 88 historic holes which confirmed mineralisation extensions.

The materials stock plans to use results from this latest round of fieldwork to help guide drill targeting for planned drilling in Q1 2022.

GTR said in today’s release it believed that the shallow nature of the mineralisation supported continued low cost exploration.

Meanwhile, the company is also on track to begin uranium exploration at the soon-to-be-acquired Thor ISR project in Wyoming in December.

GTI Resources has agreed to acquire 100 per cent of the Wyoming and Colorado properties from Branka Minerals, with the acquisition set to be completed by November.

GTI Resources shares were trading 13.3 per cent in the green at 3.4 cents each at 2:55 pm AEDT.
