Halo Food Co (HLF) subsidiary The Healthy Mummy has received a third order from Woolworths, worth an additional $142,000.

The Healthy Mummy received the follow-on order from the retail giant for its three-core powdered smoothie products. These include an on-the-go variety sachet pack, plus vanilla and chocolate “tummy smoothies”, all manufactured in-house at Halo’s Melbourne facilities.

With the third order in place, the company’s total opening purchase orders amount to $545,000.

Halo Food expects the total sales value of the products to reach $2.5 million within the first year, and opening orders have already hit 22 per cent of this target in one month.

“Now, as THM product is being rolled out across Woolworths stores nationally, it is fantastic to see the frequency and volume of the Woolworths orders being received,” Halo CEO Jourdan Thompson said.

“This initial demand from Woolworths highlights their confidence in the THM brand, the products and the broader retail upside for The Healthy Mummy.”

Woolworths has now launched the rollout of the products across its national footprint of retail and online stores, with conversations underway for further product rollouts.

The news follows the signing of a third contract with supermarket chain Coles, with a forecasted yearly sales value of $2.9 million.

Halo Food Co was up 6.9 per cent and trading at 3.1 cents at 12:13 pm AEDT.
