Hillgrove Resources (HGO) has updated the market regarding recent diamond drilling at the Kanmantoo Copper Mine in South Australia.
A total of 14 holes have been recently drilled at the Nugent and Kavanagh copper-gold deposits to increase the geological confidence in the continuity and grade of the mineralisation.
Significant results include 20.3 metres at 2.07 per cent copper, 0.67g/t gold, and 7g/t silver from 490 metres, and 20.65 metres at 2.01 per cent copper, 0.42g/t gold, and 6g/t silver from 326.6 meters.
“These copper-gold drill results continue to demonstrate the continuity of the high-grade copper-gold zones across multiple lodes at Kanmantoo,” CEO and Managing Director Lachlan Wallace commented.
“The copper-gold lodes continue to be open at depth and along strike and we are excited to be undertaking an evaluation of this underground mining project at Kanmantoo which, if successful, is a path forward to return the company to cash generation as quickly as possible,” he added.
Ongoing drilling is continuing to highlight the continuity of the high-grade mineralisation.
Hillgrove has ended the day 8.51 per cent in the green with shares trading for 5.1 cents each in a $27.52 million market cap.
