Horizon Minerals (HRZ) has reported “encouraging” results in its latest round of assays from drilling at its Boorara gold project in WA.
The latest results came from two small reverse circulation (RC) drill programs completed over the Honeyeater and Black Flag prospects.
The company noted “significant” high-grade gold mineralisation was intersected at Honeyeater, recording a hit of two metres at 34.85 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 74 metres, including one metre at 68.04 g/t gold from 74 metres.
It said the mineralisation spans over a 200-metre strike length and remains open to the north, south, and at depth.
Meanwhile, drilling at Black Flag intercepted eight metres at 2.19 g/t gold from 30 metres, including five metres at 3.03 g/t gold from 30 metres.
Horizon is planning follow-up drilling at Honeyeater and Black Flag for early next year.
Managing Director Jon Price said show the growth potential of the Binduli area.
“We look forward to further drilling programs in these exciting areas in 2023 to follow up extensions and new discovery drilling, with strong resource growth potential leveraging off existing infrastructure in the eastern goldfields area,” he said.
