Critical minerals, defence technology and development stage healthcare are driving plenty of investor attention on HotCopper this week, with several small cap names getting firmly under the microscope.

American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX:AT4) was one of the most actively discussed names, with the company continuing to draw interest around its US focused tungsten and antimony strategy. The company lodged a cleansing notice on Monday, while recent drilling at its Antimony Canyon project has provided the backdrop for renewed investor interest in the high-grade antimony story.

The forum conversation around AT4 continues to reflect the speculative nature of the story, with shareholders particularly focused on the company’s US critical minerals exposure and the potential significance of its antimony and tungsten assets.

DroneShield (ASX:DRO) was another major focus after launching RfRecon, a new portable radio-frequency intelligence product described by the company as the next generation of its RF detection technology. The announcement on Monday gave investors a fresh product catalyst to debate.

That has produced a familiar split in HotCopper discussion, with the bullish camp concentrating on DroneShield’s expanding product suite and demand for counter-drone technology, while others remain focused on valuation, execution and the company’s ability to convert the strong thematic opportunity into sustained commercial growth.

Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) also remained firmly in the conversation as investors turned their attention to the company’s Kathleen Valley lithium operation and the broader recovery in lithium sentiment. Recent company material has kept the focus on operational performance, production ramp up and the financial capacity created as the mine advances, while investor attention has increasingly shifted towards what stronger lithium pricing could mean for an established producer such as Liontown.

Among the most watched stocks, Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) generated particularly intense attention after a US court issued a preliminary injunction affecting operations at the Colosseum project. The company updated the market on Wednesday on the US proceedings, making the legal dispute the immediate focus for investors and sending the stock sharply lower before it subsequently rebounded.

Investor attention is now concentrated on the implications of the court proceedings and what happens next.

4DMedical (ASX:4DX) also continued to attract significant views as investors assessed the company’s commercialisation trajectory following its recent US expansion and ongoing development of its lung-imaging technology. This week’s activity included an update on the proposed issue of securities and subsequent applications for quotation, keeping the stock active across the company’s HotCopper community even without a new major clinical catalyst.

For Anson Resources (ASX:ASN), attention has been particularly intense around its Green River lithium project and the company’s shareholder meeting held in Perth on Friday. The meeting was focused on resolutions concerning the board, including proposals relating to the removal of existing directors and the appointment of new board members, making governance and capital allocation central themes in this week’s investor discussion.

One prominent shareholder campaign has argued for changes to the board structure and a strategic review, while other investors remain focused on the potential of Green River itself.
