Hyperion Metals (HYM) has encountered the thickest, highest-grade intercepts to date at the Titan Project in Tennessee.

The company has received the first batch of results from its phase three drilling program which was designed to infill the project to outline a maiden mineral resource estimate.

Best results include 15.2 metres at 7.6 per cent total heavy minerals (THM) including 6.1 metres at 14.7 per cent THM; and 42.7 metres at 3.7 per cent THM including 7.6 metres at 7 per cent THM.

According to the company, these results highlight the consistent grade and thickness of mineralisation over the 3.6 kilometres strike length.

Samples for the remaining 40 holes are currently at SGS Laboratories in Ontario undergoing analysis with results to be reported on in due course.

“I am delighted with the initial phase three drill results, being the best to date from the Titan Project in Tennessee, USA,” Managing Director Anastasios Arima said.

“We are excited about continuing to explore and consolidate the area and we are confident in continuing to find additional areas of mineralisation in this major, untapped US critical mineral province.”

Hyperion was up 5.88 per cent on the market with shares trading at 90 cents at 11:37 am AEST.
