HyTerra (HYT) has received approval from the Kansas State regulator to accelerate its operations at Nemaha Ridge, an emerging natural hydrogen play fairway in Kansas, USA.
The Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) provided HYT Operating LLC, a subsidiary of HyTerra, with an operating license to prepare for well design, as well as permits for further exploration drilling programs.
Additionally, HyTera received the results from its geophysical survey, which captured the visual subsurface geology of the area.
The company’s combined gravity and magnetic data have aided in the detection of faults as well as the composition of basement rocks linked to hydrogen in the area.
HyTerra reported the “key” data provides the potential to mature its identified prospects and leads, as the company negotiates with several advisors to commence an independent resource assessment and hydrogen commercialisation strategy.
