Iceni Gold (ICL) has begun a drilling program at the TOTK target area at the 14 Mile Well Project in Western Australia.

Drilling began on July 30 with the first hole already intersecting several quartz veins hosted within a felsic intrusive.

Previous work demonstrated the potential for high-grade gold mineralisation along a 100 metre outcropping quartz vein.

This forms part of a broad mineralised envelope that extends over a 400-metre trend.

Iceni will follow up on known gold anomalism identified in previous surface sampling which returned up to 135 grams of gold per tonne (g/t), 1220g/t silver and 2.06g/t tellurium.

Once drilling wraps up, the core will be sent to Kalgoorlie for processing and will then be sent to a laboratory for assay.

Iceni has also announced it has completed drilling at the Deep Well target area with 11 diamond holes drilled.

This drilling also followed up on known gold anomalism with previous work intersecting up to 3.32g/t gold.

Drilling intersected multiple narrow zones of intense alteration within a broader alteration envelope.

The drill core has been sent to Kalgoorlie for processing and sampling and will then be sent to the laboratory for assaying.

Iceni ended the day 2.7 per cent in the green with shares trading at 19 cents in a $36.92 million market cap.
