Inca Minerals (ICG) has intersected up to 9.65 per cent copper from the Ningaloo Prospect at the Jean Elson Project in the Northern Territory.

The company has received results from a recent rock chip sampling program completed across the Camel Creek and Mt Cornish South prospects.

Of the 45 samples collected, peak assays were 3.21g/t gold and 1.89 per cent copper.

Additionally, Inca identified a 70-metre wide zone with periodic host rock and veining which included strong copper results peaking at 9.65 per cent.

Elevated bismuth and silver was also returned, with up to 957 parts per million (ppm) bismuth and 2.92g/t silver encountered.

The results have aided in the discovery of new mineralised veins and extended the previously identified quartz-hematite veins.

Copper mineralisation is now present over a 1.25-kilometre wide zone that remains open in all directions.

Inca will now undertake a 30,000 line kilometre airborne magnetic-radiometric survey over the entire Jean Elson Project with work set to be co-funded by the Northern Territory Government.

The company has also received permits to begin drilling at the Riqueza Project in Peru after COVID-19 caused travel and work restrictions.

Shares in Inca are up 3.33 per cent on the market and are trading at 15.5 cents at 12:25 am AEST.
