IntelliHR (IHR) has appointed Executive Chair Matt Donovan as CEO, effective from December 15.

Mr Donovan will remain in his Executive Chair role while taking on the added responsbilities as the company’s CEO.

He will be paid a salary of $325,000 per year plus superannuation, with short and long term incentives to be provided based on performance.

The company said Mr Donovan has been in the role of Executive Chair since March this year and has brought strategic, product and management global best practice perspectives to the business.

In the last two quarters, the company has reportedly executed a new strategic vision under Mr Donovan’s leadership.

This includes a pivot to partner channel led growth, prioritising a pathway to operating cash flow breakeven, organic lead generation focused marketing, and winning new  customers.

Prior to this, Matt spent eight years working at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, looking after the global Windows and Office 365 brand and product portfolios.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Donovan said the company will remain a HR-centric business.

“We have a clear mission to empower people to create their best work life together and are winning today in the market against the world’s best,” he said.

In other news, Founder and Executive Director Rob Bromage will resign from his role to pursue other opportunities.
