Investigator Resources (IVR) has received more assays from a drilling program completed at the Paris Silver Project in South Australia.

The Paris Silver project is Australia’s highest-grade undeveloped primary silver project with a mineral resource of 9.3 million tonnes at 139g/t silver and 0.6 per cent lead for 42 million ounces of contained silver and 55,000 tonnes of contained lead.

Investigator drilled 46 holes, for almost 6000 metres, across nine targets at the project. In particular, the company focused on the Argos, Ares and Paris Dyke targets.

Drilling aimed to identify mineralisation that may intersect or lead to finding additional silver and lead mineralisation near the Paris Silver Project.

Best results from Argos include three metres at 10g/t silver from 56 metres, two metres at 13g/t silver from 69 metres and 25 metres at 0.33 per cent lead and 0.3 per cent zinc from 53 metres and three metres at 8g/t silver from 84 metres.

Pleasingly, drilling at Argos extended silver-lead-zinc mineralisation to over one kilometre of strike and it remains open to the northwest and southeast.

Further, Ares returned an intercept of one metre at 96g/t silver from 66 metres which is significant as it was a single test of a gravity feature and has not seen any previous drilling.

Best results from the Paris Dyke include one metre at 15g/t silver from 104 metres, one metre at 10g/t silver from 115 metres and 14 metres at 0.23 per cent lead from 99 metres.

“Identification of silver mineralisation in this wide-spaced reconnaissance drill program supports our optimism the region may host other silver deposits and we will embark on further drilling at Argos, Ares and Helen, as well as at Paris Dyke – which delivered encouraging results close to the existing Paris silver resource – in the next few months,” Managing Director Andrew McIlwain said.

Investigator Resources plans to conduct further drilling at the Argos, Ares, Paris Dyke and Helen targets. In addition, the company may look to expand the Paris
resource to the mineralisation.

Company shares are up 4.55 per cent and trading at 9.2 cents at 11:54 am AEST.
