iTech Minerals (ASX: ITM) is finding more gold and antimony at depth at its Sabre project in the Northern Territory, with drilling extending high-grade mineralisation to around 275m and revealing a second mineralised shoot nearby. Managing Director Mike Schwarz joins The Watchlist to discuss the growing system and plans to drill deeper.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Deeper mineralisation: Drilling intersected 25m at nearly 5g/t gold and 0.85% antimony at around 275m depth.
- Second shoot identified: A separate mineralised zone within 100m of the main shoot has returned 20–25m intersections at grades above 2g/t gold.
- Growing system: The mineralised zone now extends across more than 400m, with modelling suggesting potential for two additional shoots to the north.
- Next drilling phase: iTech plans two deeper diamond holes to test the main shoot to around 500m before the Northern Territory wet season.
- Regional potential: Soil sampling is planned across 13–14km of ground with anomalous gold and antimony.
We’ve really extended that mineralisation a lot further down, and that shows that the gold and antimony shoots are extending a lot deeper than we had previously thought they would.
