Jayride Group expands globally, with 133 new airports in eight new countries

Ground transfer comparison company Jayride Group Ltd has announced its expansion into eight new countries, including China, Russia, Colombia, Romania, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Latvia and Estonia.

Jayride allows travellers to connect with and compare thousands of transport companies around the world in order to find the best price and book the best deal for their intended destination.

Through Jayride, customers can compare prices for travel fares to airports, hotels, homes, tourist attracts and cruise ship terminals.

With the addition of the new countries announced today, Jayride now connects travellers with transport companies in 69 countries — servicing over 77 per cent of the world’s total airport passenger trips.

Jayride Managing Director Rod Bishop said the company was excited about the new expansions — particularly the expansion into the Chinese market.

“ is now live in China, including in Beijing and Shanghai which are in the world’s top-ten airports for passenger volume,” Rod said.

“These 38 airports serve over 8 per cent of the world market with over 600 million annual passenger trips,” he said.

Along with the 38 new airports in China, Jayride has also launched in 65 airports in Russia, 9 airports in Columbia, 10 airports in Romania, 4 airports in Bulgaria, 5 airports in Tunisia, 1 airport in Latvia and 1 airport in Estonia, representing a total 133 new airports which service 882 million passenger trips each year.

This expansion is part of Jayride’s initial international roll-out, which is expected to be completed within the next 30 days. Once completed, Jayride will have airport coverage exceeding 85 per cent of world airport passenger trips, according to company management.

Jayride shares rose a slight 1.82 per cent today, trading at $0.28 a piece in a $23.61 million market cap.
