Welcome to HotCopper’s latest Watchlist, where this week we’ve been joined by Kaoko Metals (ASX:KAO) managing director Gerard O’Donovan to discuss fast-tracking its maiden drill campaign at the Chalkos project, and how a recent visit to the Namibian work site played a major role in the decision.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

Speaking to HotCopper in Week 25, Mr O’Donovan explained that, after the recent visit, Kaoko decided to “accelerate for a number of reasons.”

“Chalkos is compelling… and we’ve refined our targeting quite quickly, and that’s enabled us to move forward with that drill program. Accelerated site access works have also [helped] and those have been completed quite quickly.

“We’re really looking forward to getting on the ground and drilling the target.”
