Latin Resources (LRS) will commence the maiden resource estimate for its Noombenberry Halloysite-Kaolin Project after receiving the final assay results.

This latest batch of results continue to show high grades of halloysite that are consistent with prior results.

Results include 23 metres at 13 per cent halloysite and 73 per cent kaolinite at 80 ISO-B from 11 metres, including 12 metres at 22 per cent halloysite and 71 per cent Kaolinite at 82 ISO-B from 11 metres.

Latin is awaiting a small number of results due to an equipment breakdown at the laboratory. However, these results will be excluded and will not impact the final resource estimate.

The company will now hand over these results to independent resource
consultants RSC Mining and Mineral Exploration to commence the maiden mineral resource estimate.

Notably, the estimate is on track to be completed next month.

Additionally, Latin has also received approvals for the next phase of air-core drilling at Noombenberry, which will be focussed on testing extensional areas.

“With these final results now in our system; together with our independent resource consultants, we are excited to be on track to deliver our maiden JORC resource estimate for the Noombenberry Project next month,” Exploration Manager Tony Greenaway said.

“The pace at which the Noombenberry Project is being advanced is an indicator of the confidence that the company has in this Project,” he added.

Just before the market opens this morning, Latin is trading at 4.8 cents per share.
