Lode Resources (LDR) has intersected up to 1899 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent at the Copy Cat lode within the Webbs Consol silver project in NSW.

This intercept comes from the first hole, WCS034, which intersected 1.5 metres at 1899 g/t silver equivalent from 21.1 metres within a broader intercept of 20.5 metres at 375 g/t silver equivalent from 16 metres.

Copy Cat is the sixth lode discovered to date at Webbs Consol with WCS034 being the first hole to contain more than one per cent copper over the entire intercept.

The company also received results for hole WCS031 which was drilled at the Castlereagh lode. The hole returned an intercept of 47.4 metres at 153 g/t silver equivalent from 66.5 metres including 5.5 metres at 479 g/t silver equivalent from 78.5 metres.

“Drilling at the Webbs Consol silver project continues to yield exciting results,” Managing Director Ted Leschke said.

“Discovering near-surface high-grade mineralisation in six lodes to date demonstrates both the rich endowment and potential scale of the Webbs Consol mineral system.”

Drilling is currently in progress at the Tangoa West lode with a focus below hole WCS019 which previously intersected up to 1107 g/t silver equivalent.

Simultaneously, downhole electromagnetic, gravity and magnetic surveys are underway to target depth and strike extents as well as new targets.

Shares in Lode Resources were up 8.7 per cent and trading at 12.5 cents at 11:58 am AEDT.
