Lode Resources (LDR) has received assay results for its Webbs Consol Silver Project in New South Wales.

The most promising results included intersection WCS006 that returned 23.8 meters grading 135 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 7.32 per cent zinc between 105.6 and 129.4 meters.

Additional results came from intersection WCS007 that found 24.1 meters of sulphide mineralisation and contained roughly 15 per cent sphalerite between 122.9 and 147 meters. Silver mineralisation is anticipated in both holes.

Holes WCS001, WCS002 and WCS005 all intercepted wide areas of anomalous silver, zinc and lead mineralisation.

In comparison, drill holes WSC003 and WSC004 intersected low-grade silver, zinc and lead mineralisation.

Additional geophysics and soil geochemistry may be in the pipeline to assist in the identification of deeper mineralisation.

After starting the diamond drilling program in mid-September the company received promising silver mineralisation data in October that spiked shares for the company by 123 per cent.

The Webb Consol site was intermittently mined between 1890 and the mid-1950s where the site was said to contain multiple small but high-grade silver-lead-zinc-gold deposits.

Lode resources shares have fallen by 21.9 per cent and were trading at 25 cents a share at 11:30 am AEDT.
