The explorer identified “encouraging” visual copper sulphide mineralisation in the company’s maiden drillhole, L3SRD003, just recently.

The new hole, dubbed “L3SRD002,” will target extensions to the intersected system. The original hole bored to 600 metres and intercepted visible chalcopyrite mineralisation from 190 metres through to the end of hole. Lodestar’s on-site team believes sulphide intensity increases with depth and remains open.

L3SRD003 also intersected associated pyrite, magnetite, and molybdenite; Lodestar will be looking to see if there’s any more around the original hit or close by.

Adding a second hole at Three Saints “marks an important step in following up the encouraging visual sulphide copper mineralisation observed in our maiden hole,” said Lodestar’s head of exploration, Coraline Blaud.

It’s now a key focus, she added. “We are focused on defining the scale and continuity of this newly identified IOCG system at our Three Saints Project.”

Interested Lodestar investors can expect assay results back from the Three Saints hole expansions sometime in Q2 CY26, Ms Blaud said today. Further project drilling may also be added, should the need arise.

LSR heads into Tuesday morning at 1.9cps.
