Welcome to HotCopper’s latest Watchlist, where we’ve this week been joined by Diablo Resources (ASX:DBO) CEO Lyle Thorne to discuss the recent acquisition of the “significant” high-grade Horn Silver project in Utah in the U.S., and how high the precious metal’s price has been across the last year.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

Speaking to HotCopper in Week 22, Mr Thorne said the Horn Silver pick-up made complete sense because it’s just 15 kilometres from Star Range (already owned by Diablo) and “has historical production in a very well-known district.”

“It was a logical bolt-on,” he continued. “We know the area, and our Utah team is very experienced. It fits with our regional polymetallurgical play.”
