Loyal Lithium (LLI) has confirmed a “significant” lithium discovery at its Scotty project in Nevada, USA, through drilling.

The drilling assays returned an average grade of 1120 parts per million (ppm) lithium at a 700ppm lithium cut-off grade.

Additionally, the peak lithium value reached 4007ppm.

“The Scotty Lithium Project continues to deliver spectacular drilling assay results confirming strong lithium mineralization, representing significant resource potential.” LLI Managing Director Adam Ritchie said.

The company reported that its drilling results and geophysical data would be used to create a 3D model and a robust exploration target.

One of the project’s key advantages lies in its strategic location and geological makeup. The basin’s western edge stretches more than 5.7 kilometres, featuring alluvial fan rocks that offer the potential for accessible and cost-effective mining solutions.

The neighbouring Bonnie Claire Project, operated by Nevada Lithium, has recently produced a sample quality of battery-grade lithium carbonate from its sedimentary basin drill cores.

Loyal Lithium was down 5.5 per cent, trading at 51.5 cents at 12:58 pm AEST.
