Macarthur Minerals (MIO) has called on business development and marketing consultant Karlsson Group for a period of six months to steer progression at its Lakes Giles project in Western Australia.

In May, Maccathur uncovered early indications of “significant” nickel mineralisation through a historical drilling review at Lake Giles.

Now, the company has announced that Karlsson, which operates as Scandinavian Alliance, has agreed to provide services on an incentivised basis that includes the issuance of 800,000 company shares.

The shares are payable over four instalments, subject to performance criteria, with the first instalment of 200,000 shares due on June 19.

MIO Chair Cameron McCall said the company was looking forward to working with Karlsson.

“We are delighted to enlist the support of Karlsson in facilitating the introduction of the Macarthur story to European investors,” he said.
