Mamba Exploration (M24) has commenced its electromagnetic (EM) survey over the Darling Range Project in Western Australia.

The helicopter-based survey will take ten days, subject to weather conditions, and results from the survey are expected within two weeks later.

The survey has started at the Mistake Creek tenement, which neighbours the Mandrake Resources (MAN) Jimperding Project. MAN’s project recently found a number of strong EM conductors that trend into M24’s tenure.

This proportion of the tenement is expected to be completed this Friday, March 19.

After this, the helicopter will then test the Black Hills tenement, followed by the Baaty Bog tenement.

Black Hills is located near Chalice Mining’s (CHN) Julimar Discovery east of Perth and the recent strong EM conductor discovered by Pursuit Minerals (PUR).

While Baaty Bog is located near Caspian Resources (CPN) Yarawindah Brook Project, where there have been significant platinum group elements intersections and a number of EM conductors.

“We are pleased to have been able to commence the VTEM survey in such a short timeframe from listing,” Managing Director Mike Dunbar said.

“In particular, we are very encouraged by the recent exploration success that our
neighbouring peer companies have achieved in this extremely under-explored and highly prospective belt of Western Australia,” he added.

On market close for the day, M24 is up 5.56 per cent and is trading at 28.5 cents per share.
