Mamba Exploration (M24) has identified 13 electromagnetic (EM) bedrock conductors at the Darling Range Project in Western Australia.

These conductors are consistent signatures of mafic and ultramafic rocks which are known to host nickel-copper-platinum group element (PGE) mineralisation.

Of the 13 EM conductors, five are located at the Black Hills Tenement, five are at the Mistake Creek Tenement and three are at the Batty Bog Tenement.

Mamba is now undertaking detailed modelling of each conductor with planning for ground-based EM follow-up and geochemical sampling in progress.

Subject to land access and relevant approvals, Mamba will then undertake drilling to follow up on targets identified via the sampling programs.

Work is scheduled to begin in the second and third quarters.

Further, Mamba has lodged a new tenement application which covers the south of Mistake Creek and adds another 23 square kilometres to the project.

“This is a fantastic result and confirms our belief that this underexplored region of Western Australia has excellent exploration potential which is yet to be fully appreciated,” Managing Director Mike Dunbar commented.

“Achieving these results, in such a short time from listing, is a significant milestone for the company and leaves us in a financially strong position to continue our exploration,” he said.

“We are very encouraged by the presence of bedrock conductors on each of our tenements and pleased to be expanding our tenement package with an additional tenement application to the south of our Mistake Creek tenement,” he added.

Mamba is up five per cent on the market and shares are trading at 31.5 cents at 1:49 pm AEDT.
