Mamba Exploration (M24) has identified sulphide mineralisation in the first hole at the Black Hills priority target in Western Australia.

Visual logging has identified multiple zones of dispersed sulphide mineralisation from 163 metres to 166 metres.

Samples have been sent to a laboratory in Perth for analysis and results are expected to be received in three to four weeks.

“We are very pleased to announce the discovery of sulphides within the first hole drilled at the Black Hills priority electromagnetic and magnetic target,” Managing Director Mike Dunbar said.

“To intersect sulphide mineralisation within the right rocks with the first hole is an excellent result and reinforces our strategy of de-risking the drilling by as many independent targeting methods as possible.”

Reverse circulation drilling is continuing and is expected to be completed in the next few days with samples to be submitted to the laboratory for analysis.

In addition, a downhole electromagnetic survey team has been secured to survey all the drilled holes.

Once the data has been processed, it will be combined with results from the drilling to identify targets for follow-up drilling.

Mamba Exploration was up 5.26 per cent on the market with shares trading at 20 cents at 12:39 pm AEDT.
