MCS Services has secured six new shopping centres in Western Australia for security contracts.

Four of the new contracts are for suburban shopping centres and are signed for a five year period.

The five year contracts have a further 12 month extension option if the centres activate it within three months of expiry.

The four shopping centres are managed by the same property management group in Western Australia.

MCS has also secured security services at two other shopping centres. The two shopping centres are contracted for two years and also have a 12 month option.

The contracts will add approximately $400,000 per annum to the company’s income.

MCS Services provides security services at major commercial property and retail shopping centres throughout Perth metropolitan areas and regional country areas in Western Australia.

These services include mobile patrols and response vehicle services.

The company also provides electronic security services including the design, supply, installation and commissioning of security alarms, CCTV, biometric and access control systems.

CEO Paul Simmons is happy with the new contracts.

“It is very pleasing to secure these new contracts and as with others it shows the confidence and trust property managers have in the company and our people,” he said.

Some of MCS’ other clients include Colliers, Optus Stadium, Charter Hall and Savills.

“Our shopping centre portfolio continues to increase again as we continue to deliver a service that exceeds client expectations,” Paul said.

MCS is currently up 4 per cent and is selling shares at 2.6¢ apiece.
