Metal Bank (MBK) has reported aircore drilling results, supporting the continuity of gold mineralisation at the Kingsley East target, within its Livingstone project in Western Australia.

The company intersected gold in nine out of ten holes and extended the strike extent in the Kingsley system to over 1.8 kilometres.

Results peaked at 16 metres at 1.4 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from 64 metres, including a higher grade hit of 4.79 g/t over four metres.

Metal Bank said the results support a coherent zone of gold mineralisation over 750 metres of strike at the Kingsley East target.

Gold was also intercepted in three scout aircore holes, which the company said highlights the potential for growth.

Further assays are outstanding for drilling along strike, both east and west of the Kingsley resource.

Meanwhile, phase two drilling at the project is underway to verify historical drill results, with the company also working to develop new targets.

Shares were down 11.1 per cent trading at 0.4 cents at 3:08pm AEST.
