MetalsTech (MTC) has identified visible gold in hole UGA-10 at the Sturec Gold Mine in Slovakia.

Diamond drilling is currently underway to extend the mineralisation down-dip to the southwest and along plunge to define substantial underground mineable resources.

Specifically, hole UGA-10 was drilled to intersect the mineralised zone along strike to the south of UGA-05 which intersected up to 17.5g/t gold.

During detailed geological logging and sampling, MetalsTech identified visible gold from 135 metres to 135.1 metres.

This gold is hosted within a broader zone of quartz filled vein and strongly argillic altered andesite host rock.

The gold measures up to 0.5 millimetres in size and is present as dispersed blebs grouped together in one-to-five-millimetre-wide nests.

More updates regarding hole UGA-10 will be made in the next few weeks as the core gets sampled.

MetalsTech is currently drilling hole UGA-11, which is aiming to intersect the mineralised zone 30 metres from UGA-04.

UGA-04 has previously intersected 90 metres at 3.88g/t gold and 13.9g/t gold.

Further, MTC is waiting on results from holes 7, 8 and 9 which are expected to be received shortly.

MetalsTech has ended the day 12.5 per cent in the green with shares trading at 22.5 cents in a $29.31 million market cap.
