MinRex Resources (MRR) has appointed Pedro Kastellorizos as CEO, effective June 1, 2021.

Pedro is a professional geologist with over 24 years of experience in the exploration, corporate and mining sectors.

His career expands across technical and executive positions across Australia and London and has experience working with precious metals, uranium, tungsten, base metals and molybdenum.

Pedro has worked for a wide range of ASX-listed companies such as Genesis Resources (GES), Eclipse Metals (EPM), Batavia Mining (BTV), Tennant Creek Gold, Thor Mining (THR) and Regency Mines.

He has overseen project acquisitions, capital raisings and joint ventures.

At this new CEO role, Pedro will drive exploration and drilling activities at MinRex’s Sofala, Mt Pleasant and Sunny Corner projects.

“I am enthusiastic to drive the company forward through the development of our highly prospective exploration projects and adding value to our shareholders through technical and financial expertise,” Pedro said.

“Our target programs to be developed will advance our profile as a leading mineral exploration company,” he added.

Shares in MinRex are down 4.17 per cent on the market and are trading at 2.3 cents at 4:02 pm AEST.
