MMA Offshore (MRM) has been awarded three contracts to support offshore windfarm developments in Taiwain during 2023.

The projects will last a combined 370 days and increase the company’s contracted revenue by around $30 million, with additional potential revenue of $15 million also on the cards.

The company’s MMA Pinnacle will be set up from Singapore to Taiwan to support industry-leading Seaway 7 on a windfarm development project.

Meanwhile, the MMA Prestige will offer walk-to-work accommodation support services for wind turbine maintenance operations in Taiwan.

The company’s MMA Crystal will undertake cable trenching and survey support services.

MMA Managing Director David Ross said being awarded the contracts marked a significant milestone for the company.

“These contract awards also mark a major milestone in our diversification strategy, with offshore wind being a key target market for MMA into the future,” Mr Ross said.

“We look forward to supporting our clients to deliver successful outcomes on these projects.”

Mr Ross added that the contract secured with the MMA Crystal reiterated the company’s strategic direction to support the growing offshore wind market in the region.
