Mobilicom (MOB) has received an order worth $560,000 from commercial drone manufacturer in the US.

The order was for its Skyhopper Pro V product, which provides video processing capabilities for drones.

The purchase came following trials, which incorporated the technology into the drone design.

The company believes it will receive repeat orders from the manufacturer, which operates in the agriculture, infrastructure monitoring, disaster relief, and public safety sector.

The order will be delivered over the course of this year.

The US is the worlds largest drone market for commercial and defence operations, with the company expanding its presence in the region.

“This purchase order reflects the successful execution of our go to market strategy,” CEO Oren Elkayam said.

“Following an initial design win, we have demonstrated the capability of our technology.”

“With commercial drone manufacturers experiencing strong growth, demand for the end-product is driving demand for our technology.”

On market close, shares were trading flat at 4.1 cents each.
