Moho Resources (MOH) has announced assays from an aircore drilling program at the Tyrells and Hodges prospects at the Silver Swan North project around 50 kilometres northeast of Kalgoorlie in WA.

The materials stock wrapped up the 158-hole program in late August, which aimed to test gold-in-soil anomalies north of East Sampson Dam.

Drilling at Tyrells intersected an 800-metre long, structurally-controlled mineralisation corridor.

Results from the prospect include eight metres at 1.05 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from 48 metres including four metres at 1.54g/t gold, four metres at 0.88g/t gold from 36 metres, and four metres at 0.68g/t gold from 16 metres.

The intercepts above 0.8g/t gold are reportedly associated with quartz veining and iron oxide after sulphides within bedrock.

At Hodges, mineralisation is associated with the footwall of a dolerite/ultramafic contact that shows moderate foliation and chlorite-silica alteration near a shear zone.

Moho was particularly pleased with SSA0146 which returned an intercept of 12 metres at 0.74g/t gold from 48 metres with the hole ending in mineralisation of one metre at 1.67g/t gold from 59 metres.

Managing Director Shane Sadleir commented on the results.

“These aircore drilling results are very encouraging and suggest that the Tyrells and Hodges prospects could make a significant addition to the interim mineral resource estimate at East Sampson Dam,” he said.

Moho Resources plans to follow this program up with further drilling to better understand the mineralisation and potentially extend both the anomalies.

Company shares lasted tarded at 6.4 cents.
