With more than 600k average monthly users on the HotCopper forums, each and every discussion can move markets. That’s why getting in front of those red-hot trends is key for every trader worth their salt. In this daily HotCopper trends column, we break down the top Oz stocks through each trading day.

American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX: AT4) was the most popular stock on HotCopper after it produced an antimony ingot at the Del Sol Hydromet Refinery in Amargosa Valley, Nevada, using material from the White Spar antimony mine in Arizona.

The production of the antimony ingot represents the first physical demonstration of the mine-to-metal pathway underpinning AT4’s United States vertical integration strategy.

“Producing antimony ingot at Del Sol is a major milestone for AT4 and a tangible demonstration of the potential strategic value of the proposed Del Sol acquisition,” CEO Casper Adson, said.

“We have taken material mined in Arizona, processed it through a permitted refinery in Nevada, and produced antimony ingot. This demonstrates a domestic mine-to-metal pathway for critical minerals on US soil.

“It also represents an important step toward AT4’s broader vision for a Critical Mineral Valley, bringing US mining, processing and downstream critical-mineral capability together in one integrated platform.”

White Cliff Minerals (ASX: WCN) was up after announcing a major new copper discovery at Bornite Hills within the company’s Rae copper project in Canada.

First-ever diamond drilling has intersected broad bornite-dominant mineralisation, including intervals of semi-massive bornite, and confirmed the mineralised system more than 60m below the historic high-grade surface occurrence.

Mineralisation has been confirmed more than 60m vertically below surface, the first evidence of meaningful vertical continuity at Bornite Hills.

“Bornite Hills is an important new discovery, particularly because these are the first holes ever drilled at the target,” MD Troy Whittaker, said.

“We now have a clear follow-up target at Bornite Hills, while the new airborne magnetic, gravity and radiometric survey will help map the wider structural and sedimentary system and prioritise the strongest targets for 2027 drilling.”

Motio (ASX: MXO) jumped on news it has entered into a binding scheme implementation deed (SID) for the acquisition by IVE Group Australia.

Motio specialises in digital place-based media and audience experience while IVE Group is Australia’s largest diversified marketing company.

“We have spent the past several years building Motio into a very different business, simplifying the company, improving its operating performance and establishing specialist media networks across a number of attractive environments. It’s an achievement that the team should feel incredibly proud of,” Motio MD Adam Cadwallader said.

“At the same time, the scheme provides Motio shareholders with the opportunity to realise certain cash value for their investment. I am enormously proud of what our team has built and believe this transaction is a strong endorsement of that work.”

Looking wider, the S&P/ASX 200 was down just 4.80 points today, to 8,726.40.

The bottom performing stocks in this index were Perpetual and Resolute Mining, down 14.29% and 8.86% respectively.

The index has lost 0.27% over the last five days but is virtually unchanged year to date.
