- The company intends to extend its current exploration program at the East Laverton project to include the new licences once these discussions are complete

Mt Monger Resources (MTM) has been granted four more exploration licences by the WA Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) at its East Laverton project area in Western Australia.
The first exploration licence lies 30 kilometres northeast of Laverton and will expand into the immediate area over the Pt Kidman rare earth element (REE) prospect, where Mt Monger has recently reported encouraging aircore drilling results.
Currently, soil sampling is ongoing in this area and will immediately extend into the newly granted area.
The other three exploration licences lie 120 kilometres east and southeast of the Laverton township and cover the company’s Dexter prospect areas.
The company is negotiating a heritage agreement over the Dexter tenement areas with traditional landowners and intends to extend its current exploration program at the East Laverton project to include the new licences once these talks are complete.
Shares in Mt Monger were up 4 per cent and trading at 13 cents at 2:29 pm AEST.
