Native Mineral Resources (NMR) has confirmed high-grade copper at two target areas within its Palmerville Project in Queensland.

The company has undertaken fieldwork and sampling at multiple target areas within the project.

Sampling has returned values of up to 7.99 per cent copper at the Fairlight prospect and up to 19.99 per cent copper and 32.1 parts per million silver at the Glenroy prospect.

Native Mineral Resources considers these target areas to be highly encouraging as they reinforce the overall potential of the Palmerville Project.

“We are delighted with these high-grade sampling results from Palmerville which clearly demonstrate the project’s potential to host a significant copper mineralised system,” Managing Director Blake Cannavo said.

“Palmerville provides NMR with exposure to one of Australia’s premier exploration addresses for copper and we have locked up considerable acreage over the famous Chillagoe Formation in North Queensland,” he added.

Following these findings, the company will prioritise exploration at the Fairlight and Glenroy prospects.

Company shares ended the day 4.69 per cent in the green to close at 33.5 cents.
