- As a result, Nelson intends to increase the current 6000-metre reverse circulation drilling program to 10,000 metres to continue testing the anomaly
- Additionally, drilling is continuing at the Redmill and Socrates West prospects to test two parallel systems and a high-resolution magnetics area
- Nelson has also made applications for four new tenements to the west of the Woodline Project
- These tenements were chosen based on results from first-pass logging of the diamond drill core and the interpretation of potential mineralised intersections

Nelson Resources (NES) has completed drilling along the 20-kilometre-long geochemical anomaly at the Grindall prospect.
Grindall is part of the 828-square-kilometre Woodline Project which lies in the Fraser Range, Western Australia.
The aim of this drilling was to better define the anomaly and surrounding area.
Results include nine metres at 0.41g/t gold from 81 metres, including one metre at 1.14g/t gold from 87 metres and two metres at 0.70g/t gold from 108 metres.
These results are well above estimates and highlight the presence of a significant gold-bearing system.
Furthermore, these results tested a small section of the anomaly and confirmed that it is mineralised.
As a result, Nelson intends to increase its current 6000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling program to 10,000 metres to continue testing the anomaly.
Additionally, RC drilling is also continuing at the Redmill and Socrates West prospects.
Work at Socrates West will focus on two recently identified parallel systems while the focus at Redmill will be on a high-resolution magnetics area.
“Nelson’s targeting methodology has proven to be an effective way for us to identify and then test gold bearings zones within the 20-kilometre-long geochemical anomaly we have at the Woodline Project,” CEO Adam Schofield said.
“Due to the initial success at Grindall we are now considering an additional 4000 metres of drilling in the current campaign to really test the gold-bearing structures’ dip and strike,” he added.
Nelson has also made applications for four new tenements to the west of the Woodline Project.
