Nexus Minerals (NXM) has intersected up to 41.23 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from the Crusader Prospect.

Crusader is part of the Wallbrook gold project which lies in the eastern goldfields of Western Australia.

Reverse circulation (RC) drilling is being undertaken to test for depth and strike extensions to the mineralisation intersected in previous diamond and RC drilling.

Notably, every RC hole drilled in this program to date has intersected mineralisation and the width and tenor of the mineralisation remains consistent.

New results include 10 metres at 6.42g/t gold including one metre at 41.23g/t gold; and 16 metres at 5.62g/t gold including four metres at 11.74g/t gold.

Further drilling will now be undertaken to test for depth extensions to the mineralisation as well as further strike extensions to the Crusader-Temple corridor.

Managing Director Andy Tudor is pleased with the results and is waiting to receive the remaining ones.

“These results from Crusader have again shown excellent continuity of mineralisation and broad, high-grade gold intercepts,” Mr Tudor said.

“We are now eagerly awaiting the balance of results from samples submitted and the completion of this phase of the drilling program.”

Shares in Nexus were up 2.47 per cent and trading at 8.3 cents at 10:36 am AEST.
