Nexus Minerals (NXM) has intersected broad high-grade gold mineralisation at the Crusader-Templar prospect, located within the Wallbrook gold project in WA.

The company has received assay results from 40 reverse circulation (RC) holes for 8694 meres.

All drill holes have intersected gold mineralisation exhibiting strike and depth continuity, according to Nexus.

Drill results include 14 metres at 2.44g/t gold and 33 metres at 2.09g/t gold within 84 metres at 1.35g/t gold from nine metres and 10 metres at 4.48g/t gold within 16 metres at 2.90g/t gold from 31 metres.

“The drill results continue to impress, with broad high-grade zones of mineralisation being returned,” Nexus Managing Director Andy Tudor said.

“The widths and grades returned in shallower oxide targeted drilling, including 84 metres at 1.35g/t gold from nine metres are impressive, building our confidence in the potential for the Crusader-Templar prospect to evolve into a very large mineralised system.”

Currently, Nexus has three RC drill rigs and two diamond drill rigs operating on the site as the company continues to undertake infill and extensional drilling to define and extend the mineralised corridor.

On the market, NXM was up 1.72 per cent to trade at 29.5 cents at 10:35 am AEST.
