Nexus Minerals (NXM) has intersected broad high-grade gold at the Crusader-Templar prospect within its Wallbrook gold project in WA.

The results come from 38 reverse circulation (RC) holes drilled by the company for 5790 metres as part of a wider 70,000-kilometre drilling program in the area.

One of the best results included a 23-metre hit at 3.03 grams per tonne (g/t) gold within a broader 61-metre intersection at 1.6 g/t of gold from 28 metres.

Additionally, the company highlighted transition mineralisation, including a result of two metres at 10.66 g/t of gold within seven metres at 3.28 g/t of gold from 173 metres.

Managing Director Andy Tudor said the assays yielded great results along the 1.6 kilometres of strike at the prospect.

“The company will update the drilling database and commence initial resource modelling work, which will be integral in planning the next significant drill program being planned to commence in October,” Mr Tudor said.

Nexus said the results confirmed grade continuity over a corridor of mineralisation while offering extensions to previously mapped porphyry units.

Furthermore, it reported the assays were complemented by flora and fauna surveys.

Shares in Nexus Minerals last traded at 25 cents each on August 15.
