Drilling at Nexus Minerals’ (NXM) Crusader Prospect within its Wallbrook gold project has returned more than five grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

Futher drilling across seven reverse circulation (RC) holes at the WA project was completed to test the zone from 150 metres to 300 metres below surface.

Drilling intersected further broad and high grade gold, with one hole hitting 10 metres at 5.49 g/t gold.

The hole ended in mineralisation, while also extending it both at depth and along strike. Crusader mineralisation has now intersected more than 500 metres of strike and the same in depth.

Nexus Managing Director Andy Tudor says the results have again shown excellent continuity of mineralisation.

“With highly encouraging results from all holes in this RC drilling campaign, we are eagerly awaiting to see the geology and the potential mineralisation in the drilling from the diamond tails currently being drilled at Crusader,” Mr Tudor said.

While future drill programs will take place to test for depth extensions to mineralisation, the reverse circulation drilling program will now shift its focus to the Templar prospect, where the current 6,000 metre program is close to completion. Results from the first half of the program are expected over the coming weeks.

Nexus Minerals closed 8.33 per cent down at 11 cents on August 20.
