Noronex (ASX: NRX) has confirmed a broad uranium system at its Etango North Project in Namibia after receiving final assay results from its maiden reverse circulation drilling program.

The initial drilling campaign targeted the Oasis Dome and Springbok prospects and intersected uranium-bearing alaskite intrusions across multiple holes, with mineralised zones generally ranging from 10 to 30 metres downhole.

The company said the results confirm that previously identified radiometric anomalies represent genuine bedrock uranium mineralisation and validate its exploration model.

Drilling has outlined uranium mineralisation across a corridor extending several kilometres, suggesting the project hosts a district-scale uranium system with significant exploration upside.

Noronex noted that the maiden program tested only a small portion of the broader project area, leaving numerous prospective alaskite intrusions and structural targets untested.

The Etango North Project sits immediately north of Bannerman Energy’s Etango uranium project within Namibia’s well-known Rössing-Husab uranium corridor.

Next steps include integrating geological and geophysical data, completing additional surface mapping and spectrometry, assessing selected intervals for re-assay using delayed neutron counting, and planning follow-up drilling to better define the scale and continuity of the uranium system.

NRX last traded at $0.90/sh.
