Nova Minerals (NVA) has reported multiple extension anomalies and prospective targets from a drone magnetic survey completed at its Snow Lake investment in Manitoba, Canada.

The magnetic survey targeted the Sherritt Gordon and Green River area.

The first results identified several highly prospective targets in the company’s Sherritt Gordon pegmatite dykes.

Initial images from the target area showed a noticeable correlation between magnetic lows in the data and the known pegmatite dykes that were previously sampled.

Snow Lake said the drone’s ability to fly low to the canopy has resulted in a high level of detail in the data and revealed features not seen before.

The survey also revealed several other magnetically low with favourable structural orientations in the vicinity near the Sherritt Gordon and Green River dykes.

This week, the survey will continue over the Thompson Brothers Lithium deposit area.

Both the Sherritt Gordon and Green River dykes will be the primary targets for drill number 3 being mobilised by BRL Drilling.

Snow Lake Chief Executive Officer Philip Gross said it is exciting to see the project progress and accelerate towards mining.

“The drone data we obtained can now identify previously unknown extensions that greatly multiply the potential of this property,” he said.

“With the third drill en route, we are excited to start drilling these anomalies as soon as possible and to begin to establish our operations.”

Nova holds a majority interest in the NASDAQ-listed Snow Lake, in tandem with its exploration activities in Alaska’s prolific Tintina Gold Belt.

Nova shares were trading 4.6 per cent higher at 90.5 cents each at 11.30 am AEDT.
