Nova Minerals (NVA) has unveiled further “exceptional” bonanza-grade gold results from drilling at the RPM North deposit within its Estelle gold project in Alaska.

The company said these latest results continued to prove-up areas of high-grade gold mineralisation within the existing RPM North resource area.

Some of the best new results include 140 metres at 6.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 44 metres, including 87 metres at 10.1 g/t gold from one hole, and 155 metres at 2.4 g/t gold from 16 metres from another.

The company said these intersections supported previous results drilling results that confirmed the continuity of the high-grade gold zone from surface to a depth of over 250 metres tested thus far. What’s more, the mineralisation remains open at depth.

Nova CEO Christopher Gerteisen said the RPM deposit continued to deliver more thick intercepts of exceptionally high-grade gold.

“These latest assay results confirm continuity and validate broad shallow zones of particularly high-grade gold mineralisation from surface within the much larger and broader RPM gold system,” Mr Gerteisen said.

“We will report further drill results as they are received from the lab for the ongoing 2022 Estelle gold project drilling programs and remain on track to deliver the phase two scoping study in the near term.”

The company is continuing its drilling work to test the RPM South zone, with further drill results to be reported as assay results become available from the laboratory.

Shares in Nova were down 0.56 per cent to trade at 89 cents at 3:26 pm AEST.
