Oneview Healthcare (ONE) has signed deal with BJC Health System to deploy the Oneview platform group-wide, adding 2441 additional beds to the existing program.

The agreement extends the Oneview and BJC partnership for a further six years, and represents a 20 per cent increase in contracted beds and provides for the deployment of Oneview platform at a further ten BJC hospitals over the coming years.

Under this agreement, BJC will also be migrating to Oneview’s CXP Cloud Enterprise platform and moving all existing deployments to Android hardware.

BJC and Oneview have enjoyed a successful partnership since 2016, with the Oneview solution currently live in approximately 950 beds across three hospitals.

Oneview CEO James Fitter said the pandemic raised the importance of bedside technology for enabling self-service, keeping patients and families and clinicians connected.

“BJC Health System has a clear and innovative vision for how technology can support inpatient care into the future with the ‘Connected Patient Room'”.

In Q4 2021, Oneview and BJC conducted a series of collaborative workshops with key stakeholders to assess the impact of the pandemic on inpatient care and to determine how bedside technology could support care model innovation.

The outcome of these workshops is a new strategy which will bring the Oneview platform to nearly every inpatient bed at all BJC hospitals.

Oneview Healthcare is up 12.24 per cent to $0.28 per share as of 11:00 am AEST.
