Oneview Healthcare (ONE) has signed a five-year contract with Kingman Regional Medical Centre (KRMC).

KRMC is currently the largest healthcare provider in northwest Arizona and has a 235-bed multi-campus healthcare system with more than 1900 employees, 270 health professionals and 150 volunteers.

The US$2.4 million (A$3.2 million) contract will see Oneview’s cloud-based Care Experience Platform (CXP) be deployed in the KRMC healthcare system.

The CXP enables healthcare organisations to adopt technology for to cater for a variety of patient needs which helps to reduce non-clinical demands on care teams, and optimises clinical and operational efficiency.

Kingman will deploy Oneview’s latest Android hardware in patient rooms, as well as Samsung tablets running the enhanced Digital Door Sign product at the patient door.

The contract also includes integration with the Meditech Electronic Health Records (EHR) software as well as Caregility’s iConsult solution for virtual rounding, virtual visitation and virtual consults.

Kingman CEO Will McConnell was pleased to have signed this contract.

“Being able to deliver a next-level care experience for our patients while increasing efficiency for our staff by the end of the year is a game changer,” he said. “We are thrilled to leverage this new partnership so we can finally put our vision into reality.”

The CXP system is expected to begin deployment in December.

Company shares closed up 6.98 per cent to trade at 46 cents apiece.
